In 2040, veteran gamer 'RED_EAGLE', Lee Do-hyun, of the cutting-edge virtual reality game 'Call of the Battlefield: Rebirth'. An unexpected system error throws him into the midst of actual history, onto the blood-soaked European front of World War II in 1944. He awakens in the body of 'David Kent Webster', a member of E Company, 101st Airborne Division. To survive, and to change the tragedy of history even slightly, he draws upon his hidden gamer instincts and knowledge from the future.
