The Nine Heavenly Realms represent the authority of the world, and above them lies the Divine Realm. This story follows the adventures of Ye Tian Chen, the ruler of the Nine Heavens, betrayed and killed by his son, Ye Wan Shi. He then decides to self-destruct to prevent the secret arts of the Void Lord from falling into the wrong hands. However, Ye Tian Chen's soul survives, escaping and finding itself in the body of the deceased Luo Wu Ji. Thus, the ruler of the Nine Heavens begins to prepare his revenge, little by little, to reclaim his throne and his former power.
