Xian died after uncovering a hidden route in Rozenfall: Romance and Ruin, a fantasy academy dating sim, all for the sake of its doomed villainess. Impressed by his fatal obsession, mysterious entities cast him into the game as a punishment disguised as a reward and ordered him to reach its True End. He awakens at the very scene he had finally unlocked, standing before the villainess he wanted to save, only for her to order his execution. Then he opens his eyes and finds himself there again. Granted the power of Regression, Xian disregards the task of the entities and forms his own goals. He will pursue the one conclusion no player ever achieved, a future where none of the heroines he cherished are left behind, especially the untouchable villainess.
